Application interest

I am not sure where I need to post something like this so I decided on this forum.
Is it possible to create a companion application to PPC Installation Creator that would do the following?
Install a small app on a PPC that will scan the PPC, Registry, Existing files, etc. Then allow you to install applications to and/or configure items on the PPC, then re-run the scanning app to determine all the changes made and create a file that could be imported to PPC Installation Creator to build a CAB that will accomplish all of the scanned changes.
The reason I ask is because I have a software group that has built an application (they don't create CAB installs), this app requires general configuration which they will not build into the app. I have to install the app and configure it manually on each of our 200 PPC's. this number will double when we finish our aquisition of another company. Each time they update the app I have to start all over. PPC installation Creator has been a blessing for creating an installable CAB that I can push OTA with Good Messaging, but it would be even better if I could push the configuration changes as well.
Thanks

I have a primary application (which as I explained above is the primary reason I am using Installation Creator) I have two other cab files, one is simply some desktop themes for our company phones, the other is a pre packaged app which itself needs to be configured after installation (same config for all phones). Then as an added bonus I would like to be able to preconfigure the messaging client for an exchange server so the user need only enter his/her login info. (My users are spread accross the US and Canada).
I havent been working with PPC configs long so I don't know if there is already a tool available to do all of this.

Hi,
So the problem is to create a CAB file making the needed configuration for the pre packaged application or something similar.

Nick Protopapas.
