Hi again! I wrote this and it got lost, so here the short version :

When I try to install via my cab an try to create a shortcut in the startmenu, the shortcut appeares in "\windows\start menu" right after the installation. But after the first time I click on the Start button on top of the screen to open the start menu, the shortcut is gone, both in the actual menu and in "\windows\start menu". Instead is has been moved to "\windows\start menu\programs", where it appears as "MyApplication (2)". Tested on ppc2003 an wm6.0 - both the same. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

Try place your shortcuts to "'windows\start menu\programs" to see what happens. If the problem persists, send me your .pci project file to me to examine it...

in the PPCIC I select to create a shortcut in "'windows\start menu\programs" and in "'windows\start menu". After the first time I tipped on the Start-Button, both shortcuts are in "'windows\start menu\programs". I'm using the latest version of ppcic...

The same happens, when I create a shortcut manualy in "'windows\start menu", so maybe there is a registry entry missing... ?
